Do I need to register to access JADL content?

Yes. Access to JADL content is only available after completing the registration process. Users must be registered and logged in to view courses and access platform resources.

How does the registration process work?

JADL uses an automated registration verification process. If the email domain you use during registration is on the approved list, your account will be created automatically and you will be able to access the platform shortly after registering. If your email domain is not on the approved list, your registration will be reviewed and processed manually by JADL Administrators within the next 2 business days. Please do not attempt to register again or use the account recovery option while your registration is being processed. You will receive an email from JADL Administrators once your account has been reviewed and activated.

Which email domains are approved?

JADL is a learning platform for the sole benefit of the NATO Alliance and its members. In order to be permitted access you need to register with the following: official NATO email address, official governmental, or military address from an NATO member country. Private, corporate, or non-NATO member country applications will be rejected.

I cannot access Moodle because it is blocked by my organisation’s network. What should I do?

Access to Moodle may be restricted by your organisation’s network or firewall policies. In such cases, the issue must be addressed by your local IT or security authority.

I followed the instructions but my access is still pending. Why is my account not active yet?

Your registration is under review. All requests go through an internal approval process. You will receive an email notification once your account is either approved or rejected.

I can’t access Moodle or the login page keeps refreshing — what should I do?

This can happen if your network blocks Moodle, or your browser settings interfere with login. Quick fixes: Make sure cookies are enabled, clear your browser cache, try a private/incognito window. If possible, try a different network (e.g., home Wi-Fi or mobile data)

I never received my account activation email. What should I do?

Check spam/junk folders. Search your inbox for messages from Moodle. Verify that you have applied with NATO or governmental official email. Please allow at least 2 business days for the system to process your account activation.

I forgot my password / Password reset does not work

Use the Forgotten your username or password? Check spam/junk folder. If problems continue, contact the helpdesk.
